The RF Design Requirements/Specification is defined by the WLAN design engineer to meet all the gathered and defined business and technical requirements. This RF design specification is the input into the Design phase and may include the following elements:

  • Minimum primary signal level
  • Minimum Secondary signal level
  • Minimum Signal-to-Noise ratio
  • Acceptable co-channel contention
  • Number of clients per radio
  • Channel Width
